The following seats are reserved except Pharmacy/BA-LLB Department:

A. In the University
i. The Candidates of other provinces will be admitted on reserved seats except in Pharmacy and
Law departments as follows

a. KPK 1
b. Gilgit Baltistan 2
c. Punjab 2
d. Balochistan 3
e. Azad Jamu and Kashmir 1
ii. Five (05) seats for the foreign students.
iii. Two (02) seats for the sons/daughters of the Oversees Pakistanis.

B. In each department
i. Two (02) seats for the candidates on the Sports Quota
ii. One (01) seat for the candidates on Disabled Quota
iii. One (01) seat for the sons/daughters of the employees of SALU
iv. One (01) seat for the sons/daughters of the teachers of SALU
v. Two (02) seats for the sons/daughters of the Pak Army

C. Five (05) seats are reserved in Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto School of Law for the sons/daughters of
enrolled advocates

Note-I: For B-i candidates have to furnish their sports certificate from any recognized Board/College/Sports
club.
Note-II: For C candidates have to furnish Advocacy certificate from Sindh Bar Council.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

FOR BACHELOR (4-YEARS PROGRAM) & B.A - LLB/ D-PHARMACY (5-YEARS PROGRAM)

● The candidates from Sindh province, who have passed Intermediate (HSC-II) or equivalent examination earliest in 2017 from any
Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education can apply for the admissions.
● Candidates from other provinces can apply on the reserved seats.
● At least 50% marks are required, for admission in Bachelor Program for all faculties including Ghotki & Shahdadkot
Campuses except Pharmacy in which 60% Marks are required.
● For B.Ed (1.5 Years) candidates are eligible for admission who have 16 Years Education i.e., BS, M.A, M.Sc. etc.
● For B.Ed (2.5 Years) candidates are eligible for admission who have 14 Years Education i.e., B.A/ B.Sc. etc.
● For ECE (1 Year) candidates are eligible for admission who have 14 Years Education i.e., B.A/ B.Sc. etc.
● It is informed that the candidates who are willing to apply for B.A LLB Program must have at least 50% score or
above in Law Admission Test (LAT), conducted by HEC.

FOR BS PART-III (2 YEARS) & MBA (YEAR 1.5 & 3.5 YEAR) PROGRAMS

● A candidate who has passed 2 years Bachelor / ADE examination earliest in 2016 with a minimum of 50% marks from this or
any other recognized University shall be eligible for admission in BS Part –III and will be awarded the BS(4 Years) Degree on
completion.
● A candidate having completed their regular scheme of study in BS/M.A/M.Com/MPA/MBA or any other 16 Year regular
programs shall not be eligible for admission in 16 years program.
● Those students who have 16 years Business education are eligible to apply for MBA 1.5year program.

INSTRUCTIONS
● The eligible candidates have to appear and qualify the Pre-entry Test.
● The Prospectus can be downloaded from official website of the Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur
(www.salu.edu.pk.).
● The Candidate should read the prospectus carefully and must follow admission rules and regulations.
● The admission form can be filled online (www.salu.edu.pk.).
● The interested candidates are directed to upload all the necessary documents along with Challan of Rs. 2000/-
deposited at designated HBL branches as admission form processing fee.
● All candidates are required to send the printed version of application form along with documents, photos and
deposited fee challan of Rs. 2000/-, after completing the online application.
● Candidates wish to apply for any Quota must have to mention in the form, separate applications will not be called.
