Kelsey Bjornstad

My project Action Plan for my Practicum was based on being hired as a special

education para to help in a room that had a new special education program developed.

As a para I was providing support for the students and teacher to help make sure things

were running smoothly. During my practicum I will be referring to the MN Administrative

Competencies. I will be working on the Leadership skills, Organizational Management,

Equity and Culturally Responsive leadership, Policy and Law, Political influence and

Governance, Communication, Community Relations, Curriculum Instruction, Human

Resource, Values and Ethics of leadership, Judgment and Problem Analysis, and lastly

Safety and Security. I hope by touching on these leadership skills it will allow me to

grow as an individual and as a teacher.
