Clause
A clause is a group of words that functions as one part of speech and that includes a
subject and a verb. A clause contrasts with a phrase, which does not contain a subject
and a verb. For example:
Adverb clause
A version of clause that plays the role of an adverb.
For Example:
Adjective clause
A version of clause that acts the function of an adjective.
For example:
Prepositional phrases
Prepositional phrases are groups of words using prepositions. The word itself lacks
either a subject and a verb. It normally functions as a unified of speech.
For example:
Relative pronouns
A relative pronoun is one which is used to refer to nouns mentioned previously,
whether they are people, places, things, animals, or ideas. Usually followed before an
adjective clause.
For example:
Saga, who is a cheerful and bright person, changes her mask to a serious one.
