STRONG POINTS
1. Restoration of goodwill: The ban put on Kockick has shattered its reputation globally
which will be restored by making Company M a stakeholder as it in itself is a
multinational and globally dominant player in its market and will also result in lifting
the ban put by Indian Government.
2. Synchronous services provided which gives company M an edge over other
offerors: Being a multinational provider of Cloud based solutions which can be
applied for the betterment of Kockick and thus is more probable to evolve the app
making it better for its customers.
3. Compliance with the notification of government of India- As per the notification,
conditions mandated under it for the prevention of a permanent ban on kockick is
transferring full ownership of the application to a wholly owned Indian company so as
to address the security and privacy concerns.

WEAK POINTS
1. Many suitors: Owing to the historical growth of Kockick, a lot many offerers have
already sprung up with their best hands to put on the table who might pull it of.
2. New entrant in social media market: Company M might be the dominant player in
its own field but is a novice in Social Media Market and will have to overcome a lot
of difficulties to be competent enough.

NEEDS AND INTERESTS
1. Maintain security interests of the Indian administration: As the data intrusion by
Intelligence services and content filtering internet regime are the issues for the border
sharing countries, to be resolved by the Company M.
2. Increase employment prospective and interest of the users: It has to promote the
interest of the users and employees. Boosting overall economic growth of the Kockick
and expansion of the features to increase entertainment, knowledge and life tips for
the users.
3. Data localization and avoid third party costs for cloud storage service: Company
M itself provide cloud storage services to its client, therefore data of the Indian users
can be stored in India at minimum possible cost.

BATNA
GOAL AND OBJECTIVES
1. Purchase of shares at a reasonable price to ensure a fair deal for both parties: To
reach an agreement through negotiation between the Company M and Bakshi and Co.
where the shares are purchased at a reasonable price which is profitable for the both
the companies and the economic interests are protected to provide a fair deal to both
companies.
2. Resolution of the security concerns regarding the application to ensure
promotion of goodwill of the companies: To ensure that the deal reached to through
this negotiation resolves the concerns regarding the national security and sovereignty
of the country of India so as to ensure that the goodwill of Company M is promoted
along with that of Bakshi and Co.
