Analysis of the work

The way to use: Zephyr uses letters to express himself but sometimes
he puts pictures between the letters.
The colour: He mostly uses bright colours where green, yellow, purple
and red are highly recognised on bubble Bubble graffiti, where the
style can be done in two colours, where letters are sprayed in one
colour
The black and white: Are the background and base for the painting,
where black mixes up colours to create on them a surface and illusion
of proportion. On other hand, withe colour adds smooth to letters and
creates impact in the image.
The shapes : the letters or abstract elements are sprayed or painted in
as sharp and angular forms as possible. Thinning, stretching and
contorting of letters is extreme, which often renders these works to
appear violent, aggressive and forceful.
The volumen: Zephyr tends to add volume in shapes of background,
where the letters can be visible of 3D effect

Analysis of communicative intention

What he wanted to say: Captures the excitement and potential of

80s New York, when young people outside the art establishment
were able to express their refusal to conform in a striking visual
format
“We felt we understood the trains more than the Transit Authority.
Teenagers were running the system. We decided when, where, how
much we wrote. Graffiti showed that the Transit Authority was not in
control.”
Does your art have any purpose? Zaphy believes that “Art, and
specifically the so-called ‘art world’ exist in an elite never-never
land. Art in the west is presented as something for those who can
afford the luxury of dallying in it…
Analysis of communicative intention

What do I think of the intervention of street art:

Art can be disseminated by any medium and
should not be linked to questions of whether or
not it should be represented in a certain way
If I could, I would support the urban artist, why?
Yes, since these types of artists do not present the
necessary support, they need to know that their
art is important and should not be repressed, and
that they manage to capture their message in front
of others after being on the streets.

Analysis of the work

The way to use: Letop makes Colombian art, but because of its color
technique, it illustrates fauna and flora, especially Colombian, Letop makes
colorful murals in the city of Cali.

The color: he mainly uses bright colors, especially all of them, because he
says that Colombian art captures all kinds of colors, more for its flora.

The black and white: he uses the white color to start painting him, the black
for outlines and shadows, beyond this it is used for the lights and contrast
of the artwork

The shapes: More than anything his play of colors stand out violently, his
straight lines in some of his works have a thickness to give a good contrast
to the colors and shapes that make up the work, something remarkable is
the game of shapes to give form an animal.

The volume: It gives volume when there is more than one object that he
wants to make in order to give more volume to the object that is in focus

What he wanted to say: His murals are a response to the feeling

of omnipotence that man has experienced since industrialization
began.

Does your art have any purpose?

His works are characterized by being based on different layers

that give color highlights, beyond giving the history of
industrialization, it is an explosive art.
