presente. Estude as regras a seguir:
As regras ortográficas aplicam-se exclusivamente à terceira pessoa do singular (he, she, it).
Para as outras pessoas, o verbo não se flexiona.
1ºRegra: Na maioria dos verbos, acrescenta-se –s (dance, live, talk, play, get, take,):

Verbo dance- dançar Verbo live – viver/morar Read- ler

Atividade
1) Aplique a primeira regra conjugue os verbos: drink – beber / work – trabalhar / sleep-
dormir:

2) Aplique a segunda regra conjugue os verbos: catch – slash - buzz:

CURIOSIDADE: PALAVRAS HONOMINAS EM INGLÊS

CLOSE: Pode significar “fechar” ou “perto”. Se alguém pedir para você fechar a porta, falará
“Close the door.” Mas se alguém pedir para que se sente próximo, também usará a mesma
palavra: “Sit close to me”.
HOT: Se está calor, você pode falar “oh, It’s so hot today!”. E se sua comida estiver
apimentada, também poderá usar o termo “hot”. I don’t like Mexican food, it is too hot for me.
(Não gosto de comida Mexicana, é muito apimentada para mim)
LETTER: Para se referir à quarta letra do alfabeto (D), você pode usar: “The D is the fourth
letter of the alphabet”, mas se quiser enviar uma carta à alguém, pode falar: “I will send you a
letter”.
PLAY: significa jogar. I like to play volleyball on the beach. (Gosto de jogar vôlei na praia). Mas
também pode significar brincar. Ex: Kids love to play in thepark. . (Crianças amam brincar no
parque)
