Executive summary

This internship report on the freight forwarding industry in Bangladesh. Especially ocean freight and air
freight for Bongos Xpress Logistics (Bel). I was trying to gather information about the education and
transmission of and freight forward business and evaluate the growth season of the company as a
whole. There are key factors that perpetuate our Organization project in the business and as a
representative of Bongos Xpress, give us a brand name in the market and easy access to any assistance.
Because Bongos Xpress has vast network in the world. We are the largest in Air Freight and the second
largest in Ocean Freight and the first in Rail Freight in the world in terms of revenue and Tue. The aim of
Bongos Xpress and in particular Bongos Xpress is to provide its customers with business support that
minimizes mistakes made by customers to the Buyer end. Bongos Express is responsible for delivering
customers finished and untouched products. And also provide support as long as it is required to satisfy
the end customers. My job as an ocean freight primary and system support for the last 2 years has given
me good Insight into the reality of the freight forwarding industry about Bangladesh. In addition to my
job duties at bongos Express, I must send notice of our sales to my line monitors within strict deadlines.
As an ocean first, I have to follow the precise codes of professionalism, attend developmental training
and also foster relationships with stakeholders in my organization. As well as outside of the
organization. The Report continues to evaluate the organization by a SWOT analysis. I have added that
has identified a few areas of development for both the Ocean & Wind team and the organization as a
whole. The strategic way of overcoming technical problems and challenges has been elaborated in the
Recommendation Section.

Introduction
1.1 Origin of the report:
The report was prepared as part of the BBA internship program. The report focuses on effective
ways to create a revolution in the logistics industry. As I worked as an intern on Bongo Express
and received a researching the effective ways during my internship. So I took this topic as an
internship topic and started working on it as it is related to my university studies. The exercise
began on June 10, 2021 and ended on September 30, 2019.

1.2 Objectives of the report:


 To analyze the company's activities.
 To find out evaluate effective ways to the logistic industry.
 So give some recommendations on problems in the logistics industry.
 Examine the activities of the company.

1.3 scope of the study:


The principle of the study effective ways to revolution of logistic industry.

1.4 Methodology of the study:


All information in this report is work experience and assessment throughout the internship. I had
the ability to incorporate educational knowledge into practical work life in this study. I have
collected data from several sources.

1.5 Limitation of the study:

In my job, there are some limitations. I encountered this study with many problems. In this
constraint time, I could not write a very good report. Report is not enough for a device like
bongos Express Company Limited to know the content.

Lake duration:

Length of internship coverage is very short. I also had very little time to complete the internship,
which is not enough to know a company in general.

Other limitation:
 Lack of experience.
 The company's website is out of date so it is difficult to find out their details.
 Three-month is not enough time to understand the activities of the company.
 The company's policy of not disclosing data and information is a major obstacle to
reporting.

3.1 Proper Planning and Setting Goals:
The first and most important thing to consider is to plan the entire logistics process. Every step of
the shipping process should follow a proper vision. From the production of goods and storage
devices to their safety and on-time delivery to the end customer - everything is achieved with
proper planned management of time, delivery and other parameters to achieve maximum profits.
The most important thing is not to compromise on the standard. The schedule must be strictly
adhered to for better monitoring, quality control and timely delivery.
What to Look Out for

No matter how well the procedure is planned, the possibility of unforeseen circumstances cannot
be ignored. Problems related to the products, transport, time, etc. can always arise. It is always
recommended to have a backup emergency plan to deal with such situations.

3.2 Training of Staff:

The likelihood of a plan succeeding greatly depends on how effectively the company’s
employees work. This allows us to move on to another important factor that can help an
organization increase its profits, Well-trained staff.
Role of HR:

The staff must be well trained in managing all orders and information using modern techniques.
This can be achieved through a positive and active role as HR. This department is responsible for
training the staff according to what is required and preparing the staff for it.

Block chain is a modern technology that can help process larger amounts of data that are
organized or unorganized collected at various levels of the supply chain. This can help run the

department.

manage unexpected situations and solve some problems that may arise in the freight forwarding
process.

improve or implement of the policy.

3.8.2 Price:

The selling aspect that makes Bongo Xpress sales people work hard is their price. But price is
not a key issue in the case of delivery business. Market research conducted among the express
delivery service buyer consistently rate price only quarter or less in their list of reasons to buy.
Bongo Xpress believes that l 'only reason for running a business is to make a profit. And looking
at their point of selling something that isn't profitable, even though many of Bongo Xpress sales
people believe they can sell more if they were priced lower. But in this business, price not only
profit, but also affects dictating the level of service it provides. If Bongo Xpress charges too little
then it would attract shipment volumes that would be beyond its handling capacity. If the
capacity is exceeded then the service level will also deteriorate. Bongo Xpress charges more than
its competitors because it has a much more complete and reliable range of services. Has the
resources, not subcontracted or wholly owned franchise. It invests in its resources, technology
and its people. It loves to make a profit. In short, Bongo Xpress is a quality company and it costs
more to run a quality company than to run an average minimum company subject to eligible
expenses are determined with the business policy of each division of Bongo Xpress and are
closely monitored for the best interests of business. Bongo Xpress's role is to get customers to
pay as much as possible above the minimum acceptable Bongo Xpress prices.
 Must have Positive attitude towards price:
The biggest price objection of all is usually in the sales people's mind. Bongo Xpress has
a strong reputation as the most "expensive" carrier in the market. As a result, most of the

especially when competing against a traditionally low-priced carrier. A negative attitude
