Una, Sa Nobyembre 1 ug 2 ang mga misa mo sunod sa schedule sa mga misa sa Domingo. Adunay
mga envelope sa gawas sa simbahan ug sa atong Parish Office alang sa mga gusto mag halad ug
pamisa sa ilang mitaliwan na mga minahal. Sumala sa IATF, ang Parish Columbary kay sirado gikan
Oktubre 29 hangtud Nobyembre 2, ang pagbisita kay hugot nga gidili.

Ikaduha, Ang parokya mamaligya ug kandila panahon sa nobena sa mga patay hangtud sa adlaw sa
kalag-kalag. Namaligya ang atong Parish Social Communications ug Youth ug “Smokeless Candle”
nga tag P20 kada kandila ug ibutang atubangan sa krus dinhi sa atong altar. Kini usa ka espesyal na
paagi sa paghinumdum sa atong mga minahal sa kinabuhi nga nagpadayon sa laing kinabuhi. Ang
kita sa maong kandila gamiton sa pagbayad sa mga galastohan ug pagpundo nga mga proyekto sa
mga kalihokan sa atong mga Social Communications ug kabatan-onan. Doula lang ang atong mga

San Martin de Porres niining panahon sa pandemya ug pagtaas sa mga isyu sa kahimsog sa pangisip.

Ika upat, Ang novena pahinungod sa atong ikaduhang patron, San Martin de Porres, nagsugod
kaniadtong October 29 (Birnes), ang novena ug rosaryo sugdan sa alas 4:30 sa hapon sugdan dayon
sa alas 5:30 sa hapon ang santos na misa. Tungod ni ini, atong temporaryong kanselahon ang atong
alas 6:15 na misa hangtud sa kapistahan karong November 7.

Sa katapusan, Hugot namo’ng gipatuman ang PAGSUL-OB SA FACE MASK sulod sa

simbahan. Sa katong adunay gipamati, mga bata ubos sa 15 anyos ug mga edaran 65 anyos pataas,
mahimong makatambong kamo sa misa diha sa inyong panimalay pinaagi sa atong live streaming
diha sa atong facebook page. Gihangyo namo ang inyong bug-os nga kooperasyon, pagsabut ug

 CHURCH REMINDERS

First, On November 1 & 2 our masses will follow the Sunday schedule. Envelopes are available
at the entrance and at the Parish Office for those who want to offer prayers of intentions to their
departed loved ones. As per the IATF, the Parish Columbary is closed from October 29 until
November 2, visitations are strictly prohibited.

Second, The Parish Social Communications and Youth are selling “Smokeless Candles” for All
Souls Day, this is a way to remember our loved ones who have gone ahead to eternal life and for
the souls in purgatory. They are sold for P20 per candle and can be purchased outside from our
youth volunteers, the candles are then placed in front of the big cross arranged at the altar.
Proceeds will be used to defray expenses and fund future projects of the Parish SocCom and
Youth.

Third, Parishioners are invited to a talk, "San Martin de Porres: A qLiberation Psychology
Perspective", on Nov 5, Friday at 7:30pm. The talk is in preparation of the fiesta of our
secondary patron. Speaker is Fr. Loreto Jaque who is based in Lima, Peru, temporarily back in
Cebu for a break, and trained in using arts and play as therapy. The talk will situate our devotion
to San Martin de Porres in this time of the pandemic and rise of mental health issues. The talk is
free.

Fourth, The novena in honor of our second patron, St. Martin de Porres, started last October
29. The rosary and novena will start at 4:30 PM, followed by the Novena Mass at 5:30 PM. The
6:15 mass is temporarily canceled until the feast day on November 7.

Lastly, We strongly enforce the WEARING OF FACE MASK within the church. We advise
those who are not well, the sick, children below 15 years old, and elderly 65 years old and above
to attend the mass at home and participate through the live streaming via our Parish Facebook
Page for everyone’s safety. We ask for your full cooperation, understanding, and adherence to
these protocols and we pray for our well-being.
