Day 6 – Match Hyperbolas

Bell Work: Pick up a set of cards and work with your partner to follow these steps:

1. Remove the four title cards and the 8 formula cards and discard them.
2. Separate the remaining cards into 3 stacks: graphs, equations, and
information.
3. Remove and discard all parabolas, circles, and ellipses from each stack. Only
hyperbolas will remain, there should be five in each stack.
4. Make some observations about the hyperbola cards and write them here:
