today. Every time we think we overcame this pandemic; new variants surfaces and we are again back to
square one.

Business around the world are affected. Fortunately, although not yet back to a 100%, we are coping
and adapting to the changes. We have not choice but to stand back up and find solutions and survive
this trying time. Businesses in Australia are now adapting to changes. The situation may not yet be back
to normal but we are adapting.

Here are some tips to guide business owner:

1. Think Quick. Act Quick.

Our current situation today has no assurance of what our business will look like after 5 years. The
question is whether will we have control over COVID-19 or not? Will face-to-face interaction still be
limited? Will the wearing of mask still be mandatory?

Business owners today shall be quick on their foot and make decisions for their business to survive.
Quick thinking and quick actions are needed these days, due to the lack of assurance of what the future
holds.

2. Be Creative.

People want something fresh, something new and something innovative. The last thing we want to see
today is something that is old and not that useful. See this situation as an opportunity to think outside
the box. We hate boring things and we want something catchy and appealing.

Be unique!

3. Talk to your Customers.

As the saying goes “the customer is always right”, because businesses are built in order to provide goods
and services to customers. Always ask for customers’ feedback and try to listen it. It is important to
know the demands of your customers and future customers to have a successful business.

CONCLUSION

Don’t be scared of changes. If times have changed, you need to adapt to the world around you. It’s all
about supply and demand. Look for that niche or unique selling point and play to your strengths. Know
what the public needs.

The only constant thing in this world is change, hence, learn to adapt. Be versatile and fluid in order to
survive.
