Colossians 1:9
We always receive something pero
- For this reason, since the day we heard
about you, we have not stopped
praying for you. We continually ask God
to fill you with the knowledge of his will
through all the wisdom and
understanding that the Spirit gives,
- Everyday we always encounter a lot of
problems. Many people, especially our
love once see’s us that we are in pain.
Full of doubts and struggles. Every we
or you thought we are alone, but the
truth is we are not. This scripture has a
message that you are not alone,
someone is praying and believing in
you. This person is praying and
requesting God to protect and heal you.
Also, we always remember that we
should not only pray for ourselves, but
we should also pray to other people.
- In life, dapat matuto din tayong
magbigay. Yes, everyday we are
receiving blessings and resources, yes,
we have shelters, food and more but
how about the other people? For
example, in school everyday your
classmate binibigyan ka ng food and all
but paano mo s’ya napapasalamatan?
Sa relationship, kayong dalawa ng
partner mo, always fighting but isa lang
sa inyo ang nag-e-effort para mag work
yung relationship n’yu. That person
sacrifices a lot of things para maging-
okay kayo. Paano mo sya
napasalamatan na hanggang ngayon
sobrang faithful n’ya padin sayo and
kayo padin? See, we always received
something, and some are ready to
sacrifice everything for us but how
about them. How about God who
sacrifice everything to save us from our
sin?
yung mga binibigay ba nila and yung
sinasacrifice ba nila nasusuklian mo?
We should learn to give and take and
hindi naman lahat ng pasasalamat
nadadaan sa material na bagay,
including them into your prayers is
worth it.
1 Peter 5:5
- In the same way, you who are younger,
submit yourselves to your elders. All of
you, clothe yourselves with humility
toward one another, because,
“God opposes the proud but shows
favor to the humble.”
- Being younger we should be submissive
to our elders. Sometimes being
submissive can lead to pros and cons
situation based on its relationship to us
personally. Yes, we are selfish every
time, but we should always remember
that we should be submissively and
humble to each other because God
resists the proud but gives grace to the
humble.
- It’s like ‘yong kahapon na verse the
Colossians 1:9 that verse thought me
that we should learn to give to other
people. Today’s verse reflected me that
we need to serve and be humble to God
kasi madami s’yang ginawang sacrifices
para sa atin. We should show some
humility to each other especially to God
because doon s’ya sasaya, lahat tayo
nagkakayoos at walang nag aaway dahil
pantay-pantay tayo lahat at humble sa
isa’t-isa.
1 Thessalonians 1:3
- We remember before our God and
Father your work produced by faith,
your labor prompted by love, and your
endurance inspired by hope in our Lord
Jesus Christ.
- For me this passage means that we
made by our God and father. They
made us with faith, love and hope. They
made us because we have a purpose
and meron tayong magagawa sa mga
ginawa nila. They made us para maging
masaya yung mga ginawa nila and hindi
masayang but we are wasting it.
Pinahalagahan ba natin yung creations
nila? We should always thankful kung
ano meron tayo because galing yan sa
taas and yung ibang tao ay wala ng
meron ka. Be thankful that God created
a beautiful work like you.
