1. What is the relationship between the good life and science?

(10 pts)

Science is linked to a good life. Science makes life better for everyone, and the pursuit
of a better life drives science. Science has made many people's life more accessible in
this vast world where the number of inventions is continually increasing. Scientific
innovations pave the way for technological advancements that lead to more jobs,
technological advancements that make domestic chores more accessible, and more
legitimate explanations on myths and beliefs of society that make us more educated
and take away our innocence on essential issues. The advancement of technology
through science provides us with ideas on medical advancements that will benefit our
lives as humans.

2. Based on the short film, does technology always lead us to the good life? How
and Why? (20 pts)

I'm afraid I have to disagree. Yes, it is responsible for economic growth in all
industries; technology leads to a decent existence. It enables us to complete tasks
more swiftly and efficiently. However, on the other hand, it harms humans. The film
exposes the consequences of consuming large amounts of hidden sugar in our food
supply. The reason, I believe, is that the growth of technology has an impact on
humans. At the market, they buy and put it in the basket without looking at the
contents of the products. They are so focused on progress of the technology that they
fail to read and comprehend the goods that they purchase.

With the evolution of technology, they sometimes fake the sugar level stated in the
product that they claim to be healthy (such as low in fat or calories and natural) as
they can be packed full of sugar and maybe the reason why we are battling to lose
weight or manage our health. We consume far too much-processed food, and as a
result, our overall sugar intake is far too high. We may all benefit from making better
food choices and eating more natural and less processed foods. The food business has
done an excellent job of making our meals taste delicious. We need to be much more
conscious of our dietary choices and find a better balance with them.
Finally, we must employ technological innovation with caution rather than relying on
it without prior knowledge. We must always keep an open mind and see the big
picture of the world we live in.
