THE ADOLESCENTS

BRAIN IS CHANGING IN

DIFFERENT WAY

Adolescence is not a period of immaturity

but it is the change of structure of the brain

that's necessary in the phase of life.

03 The changes in the

adolescent’s brain has

four aspects namely

the "ESSENCE"

The ESSENCE stands for Emotional Spark,

Social Engagement, Novelty, and Creative

Exploration. These four aspects helps us

comprehend the root of well-being during

adolescents cultivated.

The changes of

the brain has a

deep relationship

with the

"ESSENCE".
ESSENCE

For emotional spark, the adolescent’s

brain is filled literally with more emotional

01 processes. The virtue of this aspect is that

life is filled with passion and life is on fire

as well but the downside of emotional

spark is you easily get irritated and you're

not able to trust your emotional state.

02
The compassion that adolescents have,

has its significance in social

engagement. The downside of this social

engagement process is when peer

pressure occurs but the positive side of

this process is that you will realize social

skills last a lifetime and will make you

more be connected with other people.

03 Novelty is all about the experiences of

adolescents and it is also what drives

adolescents to experience new things. The

upside of Novelty is it will make the

adolescents go beyond their limits, to try

the unfamiliar, the uncertain things like

leaving his/her house while the downside

of this are the possible risk and dangers

might adolescents face.

04

The term we used that allows adolescents

to challenge their minds is Creative

Exploration. You can maintain the good

status of your brain with these four top SOURCES!
