REFLECTION: What struck you most in your Sunday experience? Write

a short reflection about it.

What struck me most about my Sunday experience is the Sunday

message or homily. Lately, I am being discouraged by thought of not being
good enough in my chosen degree. I was struck when I heard that the homily
is all about our discouragements in life. It talked about how we, people, easily
get discouraged when we encounter challenges in life. It also talked about
how impatient we are to the things that we want to achieve. I have realized
that oftentimes we are also the ones who discourage ourselves. We compare
ourselves to others and we become insecure but we do not realize that we all
have our own pace and we all have God’s plan for each and every one of us.
The sad truth is, we see how big our problem is but we don’t see how big our
God is. Sometimes, we already have the blessing but we still choose to
complain when what we should be doing is just thanking Him. We should learn
to wait and do not be impatient because nothing worth having comes easy.
