My Job Responsibilities were to:

1) Plan and carries out breeding studies to develop improve varieties of crops

2) Improve specific characteristics, like yield, size, quality, maturity and resistance to frost,
drought, disease and insect pests in plants, utilizing principles of genetics knowledge of
plant growth

3) Develop variety selects most desirable plants for crossing

4) Breed plants, using methods such as inbreeding, crossbreeding, backcrossing,

outcrossing, mutating, or interspecific hybridization selection

5) Select progeny having desired characteristics and continues breeding selection process
to reach desired objectives.
