Pattern
Cast on 60sts (XS), 62sts (S), 66sts (M), 68sts (L), 72sts (XL), 75sts (XXL):
(leave a longer tail yarn as this will be later used to make a button loop)
Row1: knit
Row2(WS): knit
Rows 1 – 2 form the pattern (Garter stitch).
Note: all even rows are worked on the wrong side (WS).
Continue working straight in pattern until you arrive to 12 (XS), 14 (S), 15 (M), 16
(L), 17 (XL), 18 (XXL) inches of length, ending with RS facing for next row.
As mentioned before, this wrap is knit up in one piece, sideways, armholes are created by
casting stitches on/off.

Next row (creating an armhole): work 14sts (XS, S), 16sts (M, L), 18sts (XL, XXL) in
pattern , cast off 18sts (XS), 21sts (S, M), 23sts (L), 25sts (XL, XXL), work
remaining stitches in pattern.
Next row(WS): continue working in pattern all the stitches before the armhole, cast
back on exact amount of stitches you casted-off in a previous row, work remaining
stitches in pattern.
You have now created your first armhole and should have the same amount of
stitches you have started with. 60sts (XS), 62sts (S), 66sts (M), 68sts (L), 72sts
(XL), 75sts (XXL).
Continue straight working in pattern until your back measures 16, (XS), 18 (S), 20
(M), 23 (L), 25 (XL), 27 (XXL) inches, ending with RS facing for next row.
(Measure from the armhole). (You have now completed back part of the jacket).
Next 2 rows – create your second armhole in exactly the same manner as the first
one.

Continue working straight in pattern for further 12 (XS), 14 (S), 15 (M), 16 (L), 17
(XL), 18 (XXL) inches of length, ending with RS facing for next row.
Cast off.

Armhole edging
With 9mm (US13) circular needles pick up the stitches around the armhole and
work 2 rows in garter stitch. Cast off.
Do the same to the second armhole.

Button loop
Button loop is created with same yarn (cast on tail) and 9mm (M) crochet hook as
follows:
Step1: insert your hook into the first cast on stitch
Step2: chain 8
Step3: slip stitch, break the yarn off.

Sew button in place (just above the armhole edging on the shoulder tip), using
photo as a guide. This creates the asymmetric look.

Weave in all ends.
