Data Given:

- 220 Customer

- 10 Employees

- Toilet Usage = 75%

- S = 7 Gallons/Person/Day

-Depth = 1.8m

Required: Septic Tank Dimension

Computation/Solution:

Person = 220 Customer + 10 Employees = 230 Persons

Toilet Usage = 230 Persons (0.75) = 172.5 or 173 Person/Day

Septic tank Capacity = 173 Persons (7 Gallons/Person/Day)

=1221 Gallons/ Day or 1220 Gallons/ Day (4 Bedrooms)

S = 1900 Liters/ Day

Vst = 4260+ 0.75 (1900) / 1000 = 5.685 m3 ADC = 3.79/1.8 = 2.106 m2 ( 1.00m x 2.11m)
VDC= 2/3(5.685) = 3.79 m3 AHc = 1.895/ 1.8 = 1.053 m2 ( 1.05m x 1.05m)
VHc= 1/3(5.685) = 1.895 m3
