Hi Khalid,

I suggest that you should hold a booth about cardiovascular diseases. Firstly, you can elucidate on
the structure and function of the heart, veins, arteries and blood capillaries. You can explain that the
heart is made up of four chambers, and the top-part of the heart is called the atrium whereas the
bottom part of the heart is called the ventricle.

You can also elaborate more about the process whereby deoxygenated blood will enter the
heart through the inferior vena cava and the superior vena cava from the left atrium into the left
ventricle, passing through the tricuspid valves. Then, you should include on how the blood is
pumped to the lungs for oxygenation process and how the oxygenated blood flows back to the heart
to be pumped throughout the whole body. You could also include details about cardiovascular
diseases such as arrythmia and Coronary Artery Disease (CAD), as well as the immediate actions to
take if one suffers from a cardiac arrest as many people may be clueless of what to do. You should
present your data using interesting graphics. You could even show the statistics of the number of
cardiovascular diseases reported in Malaysia monthly to attract the public’s attention. You could
even build a structure or model of the heart to make your booth more attractive. You should explain
your information to the public in a very interesting and easy way so that they could understand the
information easily.

That’s all for now. Bye!

Your friend,

Chee Sing.
