-Everything started when Ferdinand
Magellan discovered this place, and was
dazzled by the diverse and bountiful
natural resources that one tropical
destination in the east possessed. This is
now what we call The Philippines. The
Spanish colonization of the Philippines
brought about numerous influences
because the Spaniards had the luxury of
time in penetrating the Filipino culture.
The Spaniards colonized the Philippines
for more than three centuries, the
longest period that the Philippines
experienced foreign rule.
-Before the discovery of the Philippines,
Filipinos were Pagans – their gods and
goddesses were embedded in nature.
However, with the arrival of the
Spaniards, the Filipinos learned to
embrace Christianity. They started to
believe in Christ and the concept of
salvation and afterlife. Instead of anitos,
they now have saints.

ARTICLE1: Ferdinand Magellan continued to
conquer the Philippines even though he died and
continued to rule the Spanish in the Philippines but
Jose Rizal came to fight the pinoys for freedom and
torture of the Spanish because Jose Rizal gave of
the positive and vigor for the Filipinos Jose Rizal
used a different method, he only used his thought,
letter and his words to show the Filipinos to stand
up for themselves and fight the Spaniards. His fight
was not by using a sword or taking someone's life,
he used his pen to open the eyes of the Filipinos, "

Christianity the native Filipinos believed in the
gods and goddesses of nature many also believed
in the Islamic religion with the arrival of the
Spanish. Christianity gradually replaced these
beliefs gradually taught catholic customs such as
baptism marriage confession rosary observance
and worship the friars burned documents
pertaining to old beliefs in connection with it the
friars published new readings about the principles
of the Christian faith
ARTICLE3: One of the people who fought for the
freedom of the Filipinos was Dr. Jose Rizal. He is
one of our heroes and he just deserves to be one.
Unlike our other heroes who fought for our
freedom, Jose Rizal used a different method, he
only used his thought, writing and his words to
show Filipinos to stand up for themselves. and
fought the Spaniards. His fight was not by using a
sword or taking someone's life, he used his pen to
open the eyes of the Filipinos, "that's enough!"
with the abuse of the Spaniards, the country of the
Philippines and the people here must have
prospered. He felt the pain of the Filipinos and his
country so he really fought for his dream for his
country until his death, until now his dream lives
on in every Filipino today
