->Installation Instructions

1. Extract the zip file (PhilGeoidApp2018) to the desired location, then go to the
location where you extracted the files.

2. Select the file "Grid_Int_Philippines.exe", right click and choose "Run as


administrator".

3. Grid Interpolation user interface will appear to your screen.

5. Click "Select the desired model" to set the automated formula.

6. Input the Latitude and Longitude values and the computed Geoid Value will
automatically appear.

->For batch processing

1. Edit the sample point file-input.dat file in Notepad to enter your list of
points in PtID, latitude and longitude

Format of the input file:

PointID<space>Latitude<space>Longitude

Notes:
a. File should be stored in the same directory/folder as the PhilGeoid
application.
b. Latitude/longitude values should be in decimal degrees.
c. PointID can be alphneumeric but up to three charters only

2. Open the PhilGeoid application, click the 'Select grid' to choose the correct
grid file (e.g. geoid2018.98_itrffit.gri for input files containing ITRF
coordinates).

3. Click 'Select point file' and navigate to the PhilGeoid folder and Select the
edited point file-input.

4. Click 'Output to file' and type the desired filename of the output file, click
'Save'.

5. Format of the output file:

PointID<space>Latitude<space>Longitude<space>GeoidValue

A sample input file (point file-input.dat and point file-output.dat) is included in


the PhilGeoidApp folder.
