F. Discussion of methods and techniques used (appropriacy, effectiveness, practicality, etc.)

*About teacher (T):
T had a very creative way to check if Ss could do the exercises by providing them with a poll (How many gaps can you fill in) in the
Jam board on Google Meet.
T asked Ss to type their answers into the chat box => to check spelling, correct answers => effective way.
T used some polite questions to ask for Ss responses: “May I invite…?” This is an effective and polite way of inviting Ss and the
effects were good because a lot of Ss raised their hands to answer. After that, T gave thanks to them.
T also thanked each student who typed their answers into the chat box: “Thank you for sending the response on the chat box.”.
T encouraged Ss to raise their voices even if they made mistakes. She said, “It’s ok to make mistakes.”
T divided class into breakout rooms so that Ss could have chances to practice speaking with each other.
T invited Ss to answer questions randomly
T had 3 different accounts to present the lecture, to talk and to check Ss responses on the chat box.
T had 2 different break time after speaking to help Ss relax.
*About students (Ss):
Almost all the students were able to speak English fluently although some of the students did not know how to use correct words in
context to talk about a particular topic.
Ss were funny and able to make jokes in front of class when having shared their ideas.
