Calibration with Positive Outcome 4. Calibration with Negative Outcome 5. Certification SS NEWAQUA a 1- PURPOSE This Procedure describes the requirements for the calibration of length measures, instruments, densitometer and step wedge comparison film, and pressure gauges. For reference of the Quality Control Manual. 2- CALIBRATION 2-1 Measuring Tapes ‘The Steel Rule 1000 MM master shall be checked by the manufacturer or by extemal laboratory every two years and shall be used for calibrating the production tapes. The production tapes shall be calibrated every year ‘The maximum allowed tolerances are : £1 mm for master rule. +1 mm/m for 3 to 5 meters tape, £5 mm for tapes over S meters, , 2-2 Mechanical testing lab ‘QCM shall assure the mechanical test lab how is conducting the tests for PQR’s have valid calibration certfieate for test machine in accordance with ASTM 370 requirements 2-3 Pressure Gauges ‘The Production Pressure Gauges shall be calibrated using calibrated master gauge every year... The ‘master gauge shall be calibrated once a year by the manufacturer or by external laboratory. At least four readings between zero and end of scale and shall be checked in increasing and decreasing directions ‘The maximum allowed tolerances are : 1 % end of scale for master pressure gauge. 2% end of scale for production pressure gauge. 2-4 Temperature Measurement Instruments ‘The Production Temperature instrument shall be calibrated against master instrument once @ year ‘The Master Temperature Instrument shall be calibrated by the manufacturer or by external laboratory every two years ‘The maximum allowed tolerances are +£2°C for Master Instrument £10 °C for digital thermocouples. +2°f for thermometer measuring temperature for impact test. 2-5 Venire Caliper and Micrometers The Block gauges set master shall be checked by the manufacturer or by external laboratory every year and shall be used for calibrating the production Venire Caliper and Micrometers. The production Venire Caliper and Mierometers shall be calibrated every year See NEW AQUA = ‘The maximum allowed tolerances are 0.01 um for master Block gauge £0.01 mm for Micrometer. +£0.01 mm for Venires 2.5 Standard Block Gauge ‘The Block gauges set master shall be checked by the manufacturer or by extemal laboratory every year and shall be used for calibrating the production Venire Caliper and Micrometers. The production Venire Caliper and Micrometers shall be calibrated every year Segregating the unit in an area identified as area of “out of CALIBRATION” equipment. B- Issuing a Non-Conformity report for the unit in object which shall be submitted to the QC. Manger for disposition C- Ibis Q.C Manger responsibility to resolve the non-conformity as described in the Q.C Manual, Sec. 6. '- CERTIFICATION 1- The certification shall include the following data: A+ Equipment description and Serial Number and date. B- Description and serial number of the standard used for calibration or calibrated against national/International Traceable Standards C- Date of calibration and operator signature. D- Date of calibration expires 2-Al the calibration of units listed in this procedure shall be carried out by the equipment manufacturers ‘or by external laboratory. in this case a certificate of calibration shall be issued by the calibrating laboratory and shall be accepted by the Q.C Manger by signing and dating such certificates. All Master Equipment shall be with calibration certificate accepted by Q.C Manger by signature,
