The line graph compares figures for music buying habits between 2011 and 2018 using three
different methods such as streaming, downloading and buying CDs.
Overall, physical sales of music decreased gradually throughout the entire period, while streaming showed an upward trend. Interestingly, downloads changed very little peaking in 2014. At the beginning of the period, more than half of the sales were CDs. In contrast, streams had very low popularity, but over eight years situation strongly changed and indicator reached 40 %. It was slightly higher than physical sales, which shrank to 20%. Since 2011 for 2014, downloads climbed moderately and toped out on 43 % . After 2014 the number of downloads began to fall.
