 Assists and teaches in middle school math classes through whole class, group, and individual support.
 Co-facilitates a math enrichment block of 15 7th and 8th graders to improve math fluency, preview
future math lessons, and review material with students.
 Supervises before school programming for 2nd and 3rd graders by providing enriching activities and
utilizing the Playworks curriculum.

Madison Middle, PASS AmeriCorps Youth Development Mentor Aug 2019 – June 2021
 Mentored a caseload of 30 high needs middle school (6th - 8th grade) students each year at Madison
Middle School in Vista Unified School District to provide academic and social-emotional support.
 Planned monthly National Days of Service projects to reach out and to perform service to the school
community of over 1000 students.
 Led the Member Recognition Committee by recognizing all 39 PASS AC members for their birthdays
and service through specialized certificates signed by each member.
 Collaborated with several groups on campus through the Positive Learning Community (PLC)
committee by creating virtual resources through PASS’s research-based curriculum (RBCs) and NDS’s
to be pushed them out weekly for all Madison students to use in their daily PLC classes.
 Participated in the AC COVID response initiative by volunteering at the Vista food bank monthly and
Sharp Vaccination Sites as well as distributing food/textbooks/Chromebooks at various school sites.

 Piloted LEAP 3.0 at Summit Preparatory Charter to improve the way that 6 low-performing ninth
graders learn through cognitive-intensive/executive-functioning modules.
 Tutored 4th-11th graders in 1:1 settings in various academic subjects to help them form better study
habits and develop their cognitive-processing/executive-functioning skills.
 Recorded students’ growths through trackers that detail their progress qualitatively and quantitatively
and lesson-plan for future sessions.
 Created general adjustments for the LEAP curriculum as well as specific activity adjustments to give
instructors insight on how to accommodate for children with ADHD and/or on the spectrum.
 Edited the EF curriculum to include adjustments for students who primarily use electronic devices
such as laptops or iPads as a means for taking notes and doing school work.
 Created and presented an Algebra PD to the Summit team to help them re-learn and develop a better
understanding of the topics that our ninth graders were learning in classes.
