3. HAZARD IDENTIFICATION
Inhalation Can cause irritation. Avoid generating aerosols and mists

Skin contact Irritant. Alkaline material. Avoid contact with skin

Eye contact Irritant. Alkaline material. Can cause corneal burns. Wear eye/face
protection.

Ingestion Do not take internally. May cause mucosal damage

Human health hazards - Chronic Repeated or prolonged skin contact may cause dermatitis

Environmental hazards Do not contaminate ground water system.

Physical and chemical hazards Solutions will react with surfaces of aluminium, zinc and alloys to
evolve hydrogen

4. FIRST AID MEASURES


Inhalation Remove to fresh air. Obtain medical attention

Skin contact Take off contaminated clothing. Wash off affected area with plenty
of water. If skin irritation persists, obtain medical attention

Eye contact Immediately gently irrigate with plenty of water for at least 15’.
Obtain medical attention

Ingestion Rinse mouth immediately and repeatedly with water. Do not induce
vomiting which may contaminate lungs. Obtain medical attention
