FORMATIVE ASSESSMENT: SPEECH ANALYSIS
Speaker:
Aaron Beverly
Speech Title:
An Unbelievable Story
Evaluation Opening:
Aaron Beverly was presented properly with his speech, “An Unbelievable Story.” He went into the platform
with a confident attitude and no indications of nervousness, giving the impression that he had done this before.
In short, he appears to be heading into a normal room just to share a story to a large group of people.
Evaluation Summation:
Altogether, I loved his performance because he did not only share an amusing story, but he also taught us a
lesson that people usually stereotype or discriminate against us for. It looks like he was telling a bedtime story,
but in a bright and dynamic manner, and it is appropriate for teenagers or adults. His speech design, impact,
tactics, and delivery skills were amazing for me!
