ONLINE TRAINING OF SURIGAO DEL SUR DIVISION POOL OF ILLUSTRATORS

To : The Identified Teacher/Educator-Illustrators and Concerned School Heads

This Division

1. Republic Act No. 10533 entitled Implementing Rules of Basic Education Act of 2013, Rule
II, Section 10.3 states that the production and development of locally produced teaching and
learning materials shall be encouraged. The regional office (RO) through the Learning
Resources Management Development Sections (LRMDS) and schools division offices
(SDOs) are mandated to develop and produce localized learning resources.

2. Consequently, talented educators in visual arts are being scouted who will
eventually form part of the Division of Poll of Illustrators. They are namely:

3. On June 5 & 8, 2020, these aforementioned teachers/educators are required to

participate in an online 2-day illustrators’ webinar/training via Google-Meet
platform to learn the following topics: (a) Understanding the Importance of
Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), (b) Artistic Illustration Guidelines, and (c)
Digital Illustration using Paintool Sai Application.
