As McDonald” |stare menbere observed what occurred they went to confront the defendant in regards to his f]acttone and ene drive ehrough being closed. The defendant then got out of the vehicle and the defendant willfully and maliciously damaged a digital drive-thru menu by striking it with a wooden baseball bat one time. It was estinated it would cost $8000.00 to repair the digital ariv ‘thru menu. When the incidnet occurred multiple staff menbers of McDonalds witnessed the Ancianet occur and one of the staff members videotaped the defendant~s vehicle leaving the scene on her cell phone. On 11/3/2021, one of the witness”s positively identified the defendant as the suspect in this incident after she reviewed a photo pack. After concluding ny Anvestigation I established probable cause to place the defendant under arrest for criminal mischief $1000.00 or more. The defendant was later transported to the Land O° Lakes Detention Center. The defendant did not wish to provide any statements post Miranda Warning.
