If I were to become one of Spain's liberal Governor-Generals, the social condition that I would want to

focus on is graft and corruption. Setting a standard for individuals who will run for President and Vice

President, not only in the Senate, is one possible solution to mitigate or eliminate the problem. I believe

that the standards or requirements for these positions are not strict or high enough, which is why other

people find it easy to commit graft and corruption. People should be aware about these individuals'

backgrounds, not merely because of their popularity and wealth.

If I am elected as one of Spain's liberal Governor-Generals, the condition that existed in our country was

Spanish forces operating in the Low Countries. The Philippine Army (PA), also known as the Hukbong

Katihan ng Pilipinas, is the main and oldest branch of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), with

headquarters at Fort Andres Bonifacio in Taguig City. The PA is tasked for protecting the country through

ground warfare and operations, with 11 divisions and special forces spread over the islands of Luzon,

Visayas, and Mindanao.

For 122 years, the Philippine Army has been the nation's protector and plays an important role in nation

development. Today, the Philippine Army continues to innovate and triumph over all battles and

dangers in order to serve the people and protect the nation. Today, the Philippine Army supports the

government's pan-national counterinsurgency strategy directed by the National Task Force to End the

Local Communist Armed Conflict. The Army offers an effective instrument and framework for the use of

a whole-of-nation strategy, as well as assistance in the execution of the Enhanced Comprehensive Local

Integration Program for former militants. These actions are in addition to the Army's ongoing anti-

terrorism operations on the ground.

Furthermore, the mandate of the Philippine Army resulted in a breakthrough with the development of

the Army Transformation Roadmap 2028, which was adopted in 2010. Capability upgrades,

modernization initiatives, and campaigns for good governance and performance excellence in the

transformation program ushered in paradigm shifts and optimistic milestones, which continue to

energize members of the force to fulfil the Army's purpose of serving the nation and securing our people

and territory. The Philippine Army is certain that it will accomplish its 2028 goal of being a world-class

Army that is a source of national pride as its strategic programs and base camps continue to thrive.
