punctuation is a tool we use to organize
word arrangements to facilitate readability.

The first one is the period (.)

The period is the most basic punctuation
mark. Its function is to separate one
sentence from another. It should be used
at the end of a complete sentence.
Example: Paris is the capital of France.
Please share another example.

You’re all correct! She likes bananas, sundae, and fruit

Another is the comma (,) shake.
The comma is usually used to separate My dad bought me a pair of hairclip, dress,

For instance: One thing is for sure: he

colon.

You’re doing it right! Let’s move on.

Another is the semi-colon (;)
The semi-colon is used to combine two
closely related sentences into one
sentence when a period or a connecting
word with a comma seems inappropriate.
For instance:  I took the children to the
zoo today; they haven’t been there before
Next is apostrophe (‘s) Daniel’s puppy is so cute.
The apostrophe is usually used with an “s” The girl’s umbrella is very colorful.
to denote possession. When a noun does
not end with the letter “s”, the apostrophe
has to be followed by an “s” (‘s). For plural
nouns or names that end with “s”, only the
apostrophe has to be added.
Example: George’s book
 children’s toys
James’ mother

Another is a question mark (?) Do you like Taylor Swift?
A question mark is used at the end of a Would you like some soup?

exclamation mark (!) Watch over! There are huge holes.
An exclamation mark is used to make a
sentence more emphatic. It can indicate
warning, excitement, astonishment, or
disgust.
For instance: Look out!
That’s fantastic!

It’s your turn to give more examples.

That’s right! Next one is the dash (–) Costumes, and decoration – are all made.
A dash is used to denote a pause or a
change of thought in a sentence.

Parentheses are used to provide
explanation, comments, translation, or
