Job Details - Area Sales Manager Hyd
To lead the sales team and distributors in deploying company strategies along with developing plans to address local business
needs. Train and motivate the team to attain company objectives and to ensure sustainable distribution and build strong
relationships with trade, customers & consumers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Generate sales of company products in the area through a team of salesmen in order to achieve or exceed the annual sales targets
Making plans to have incremental sales and to improve brand appearance and availability.
Manage a Sales & Distribution network and lead a team to ensure that all targets / KPIs are met by preparing primary & secondary
sales estimates for the respective territory.
Conduct regular market visits to check route coverage, competitor activity and continuously search for new opportunities in order
to increase sales
Ensure that the implementation of trade activities by distributor & sales force.
Develop and maintain an efficient distribution network and ascertain the distributor has adequate finances to run the business
smoothly and to ensure the comprehensive availability of company’s products and services to achieve or exceed the sales targets
Co-ordinate and follow up with the storehouse supervisor to ensure that adequate inventory stock of product is maintained for the
respective geography in order to meet the sales delivery schedules and provide the distributors with superior levels of service and
meet the needs of the customer
Provide guidance to TSO / DSFs daily, monthly, and quarterly to ensure work plan in accordance with the formulated strategies
Maintain professional internal & external relationships by market visits to meet Company’s core values.
Identify business development opportunities with a view to increase market share and enhance profitability for the business unit.
Work on other projects assigned by line manager with the aim to constantly improve Sales & Distribution target achievement.
