Field study has been implemented by public and private HEIs offering teacher education

programs in the country to have meaningful exposures in actual learning environment and gain
profound understanding and appreciation of future practicum experiences as well as teaching
profession. I believe that the very best way to learn to be an effective teacher of children is by
spending significant time in real classroom contexts. These “field experiences” are a key part of
our program at all levels.
The students of the College of Teacher Education, CSU Andrews are very lucky to have the
college officials and the professors of the field study courses who relentlessly did everything
they can, to make this field study deployment possible amidst the pandemic. And it’s also right
that we recognize and have courtesy to the school who warmly welcomed us and willingly took
part in our journey and success as pre-service teachers.
With that, I welcome you with our today’s affair, the Meet and Greet of the FS students from
CSU Andrews and the Principal, Faculty and staff of the Tuguegarao City Science High school
cum Field Study Orientation.
I’m Jason T. Guzman, 4th year bachelor of secondary education major in English and I’ll be your
Master of Ceremony for the day, greeting you an exquisite morning!

PRAYER
To start this meaningful occasion right, may I request everyone to bow down our heads and feel
the presence of the Lord as we invoke the presence of our Almighty God through a prayer to be
led by Mr. Marlon Ramos, a fourth year BSED-Social Studies student.

PRESENTATION OF THE SCHOOL PRINCIPAL

The Field Study will never be possible without the willingness of the cooperating school to
participate or to be one of the schools where the FS Students shall be deployed. And to present to
us the welcoming and the goal-driven Principal of one of our cooperating schools, Tuguegarao
City Science High School, may we all welcome the dedicated FS professor of the CTE
department, Dr. Magda L. Frutas

PRESENTATION OF RESOURCE TEACHERS

Resource teachers play a big role in field study courses, they will serve as the guide and the
mentor of the students as they journey along their field study courses. May we then welcome, the
ravishing, motherly and dynamic principal of the Tuguegarao City Science High School, Madam
Carmen A. Acain to present to us the Resource Teachers.
PRESENTATION OF FS PROFESSORS AND STUDENTS
Ever since the pandemic has started, it has been a question to us pre-service teachers how will we
be deployed? How will our internship would be and questions about our deployment. Good thing
the College of Teacher Education Faculty and Staff devised a plan on how to make things
possible even with the presence of a pandemic. To present to us the brains behind the success of
the deployment and of course the mentees of our resource teachers , May we put our hands
together for the father of the English Majors, the haciendero, Dr. Chelito A. Malamug
CSU FS IMPLEMENTATION AND ROLE OF RESOURCE TEACHERS
Field study courses before are very different on what we have right now, considering the fact that
there are heightened restrictions and community quarantine, Face-to-face setup is somehow
impossible to do. For us to know the ins and outs of the field study implementation and the roles
of the resource teachers, may we give the floor to one of the most in demand authors of Major
and Professional Education books, the virtuoso, Dr. Antonio I. Tamayao
ORIENTATION ON THE SCHOOL POLICIES
Pre-service teachers must learn the value of diligence especially if they will be deployed out
campus. It is a must that these pre-service teachers are aware of the school policies of the school
that they will be deployed. To orient us, on the Tuguegarao City Science High School Policies
may we once again welcome the principal, Madam Carmen A. Acain.

To be deployed in a certain institution means you have to adjust on the new environment you
will be engaging with. You have to meet new people for your growth and you have to learn new
things outside the four walls of the classroom. It wouldn’t be a walk in the park, but I believe as
future teachers we have to remain steadfast and train ourselves how to work with grace under
pressure.
Once Again, I’m Jason T. Guzman, and I pray for our success! Padayon, Future Teachers!
