programs in the country to have meaningful exposures in actual learning environment and gain
profound understanding and appreciation of future practicum experiences as well as teaching
profession. I believe that the very best way to learn to be an effective teacher of children is by
spending significant time in real classroom contexts. These “field experiences” are a key part of
our program at all levels.
The students of the College of Teacher Education, CSU Andrews are very lucky to have the
college officials and the professors of the field study courses who relentlessly did everything
they can, to make this field study deployment possible amidst the pandemic. And it’s also right
that we recognize and have courtesy to the school who warmly welcomed us and willingly took
part in our journey and success as pre-service teachers.
With that, I welcome you with our today’s affair, the Meet and Greet of the FS students from
CSU Andrews and the Principal, Faculty and staff of the Tuguegarao City Science High school
cum Field Study Orientation.
I’m Jason T. Guzman, 4th year bachelor of secondary education major in English and I’ll be your
Master of Ceremony for the day, greeting you an exquisite morning!
PRAYER
To start this meaningful occasion right, may I request everyone to bow down our heads and feel
the presence of the Lord as we invoke the presence of our Almighty God through a prayer to be
led by Mr. Marlon Ramos, a fourth year BSED-Social Studies student.
To be deployed in a certain institution means you have to adjust on the new environment you
will be engaging with. You have to meet new people for your growth and you have to learn new
things outside the four walls of the classroom. It wouldn’t be a walk in the park, but I believe as
future teachers we have to remain steadfast and train ourselves how to work with grace under
pressure.
Once Again, I’m Jason T. Guzman, and I pray for our success! Padayon, Future Teachers!
