DESCRIPTION:

Some trucks in operation may experience cracking of the flexible exhaust tubes that are connected to the
turbochargers. New bellows-type tubes are available to replace the original tubes. The new tubes are
more durable and more resistant to cracking. The necessary replacement parts are available in kits. Tables
1 through 6 list the contents of each kit for the various configurations of the specified trucks. An installa-
tion drawing is included in each kit.

The existing exhaust clamps may be reused if they are in good condition.

Turn the engine off and wait for the exhaust to cool before repairing the exhaust system. Touching the
exhaust while it is hot can cause severe burns.
