INTRODUCTION

Introduction psychology is designed for Bachelor of Education students. The course


introduces student to general principles of psychology.

COURSE CONTENT

WEEK 2: Theoretical perspectives.

WEEK 3: L, Sensation and Perception,

WEEK 4: Memory, attention and states of Consciousness.

WEEK 6: Personality, attitudes, Social behaviour,

WEEK 7: Conflict and adjustment.

WEEK 8: Psychology and Education.

WEEK 9: Intelligence. Interpersonal attractions. Leadership. Conformity, obedience


and compliance.

WEEK 10: Attitude formation, development, change and measurement.


WEEK 11: Motivation and Emotion. Abnormal psychology.
