(1) Electric Bus Services in A & N Islands

अंडमान और ननकोबार द्वीप में ववद्युत ् बस सेवाएँ
 Lt. Governor Admiral (Retd.) A.K. Joshi of Andaman and Nicobar Islands flagged-off
electric buses.
 Lt. Governor Admiral ए.के. जोशी (Retd.) ने अंडमान और ननकोबार द्वीप समूह के लिए
Electric बसों को हरी झंडी दिखाई।
 This project of 40 electric buses is being executed by NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Ltd.
 40 Electric बसों के इस Project को NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Ltd. द्वारा Execute ककया
जा रहा है ।

(2) Global Climate Risk Index 2021

वैश्ववक जलवायु जोखिम सूचकांक 2021
 This index has been released by a Germany based NGO “Germanwatch”.
 यह Index Germany स्थित गैर सरकारी संगठन "Germanwatch" द्वारा जारी ककया गया है ।
 India has been ranked the 7th most affected country by climate changes in 2019.
 वर्ष 2019 में जिवायु पररवतषन से भारत को 7th most affected िे श का िजाष दिया गया है ।
 As per Report
 ररपोर्ष के अनुसार
 In 2019, India received 110% of monsoon rains, causing floods in 14 states.
 वर्ष 2019 में , भारत में मानसून द्वारा 110% बाररश हुई, स्जससे 14 राज्यों में बाढ़ आ
गई।
 India was hit by 8 tropical cyclones.
 भारत 8 उष्णकदर्बंधीय चक्रवातों की चपेर् में आया।
 Fani was extremely severe.
 फनी बेहि गंभीर िा।

(3) 14th India-UK Co-operation against Cross-Border Terrorism meeting held on 21-22
Jan, 2021.
21-22 जनवरी, 2021 को Cross-Border Terrorism meeting के खिलाफ 14 वां India-UK Co-
operation।

(4) National Mission for Edible Oil

िाद्य तेल के ललए राष्ट्रीय लमशन
 It has been proposed by the Ministry of Agriculture.
 यह Ministry of Agriculture द्वारा प्रथताववत ककया गया है ।
 Aim is to reduce imports and to increase domestic production.
 आयात को कम करना और घरे िू उत्पािन को बढ़ाना इसका उद्िे श्य है ।
 Narendra Singh Tomar is Minister of Agriculture.
 नरें द्र लसंह तोमर Agriculture Minister हैं।

(5) Climate Adaptation Summit 2021.

जलवायु अनक
ु ू लन लशिर सम्मेलन 2021
 It was held by the Netherlands.
 यह Netherland द्वारा आयोस्जत ककया गया िा।
 Leaders from world-wide participated.
 इसमें ववश्व-व्यापी नेताओं ने भाग लिया।
 It was held online hence named “CAS ONLINE”.
 यह online Hence ककया गया इसलिए इसका नाम "CAS ONLINE" दिया गया।

(6) M-Sand Policy

 It stands for Manufactured sand policy.
 इसका मतिब मैन्युफैक्चडष सैंड नीनत है ।
 It has been released by Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot.
 इसे राजथिान के मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहिोत ने जारी ककया है ।
 Aim :-
 उद्िे श्य: -
 Reduce dependence on sand from rivers.
 नदियों से रे त पर ननभषरता कम करने के लिए है ।
 Use of waste from mines for sand manufacturing to meet the high demand of
sand for construction works.
 ननमाषण कायों के लिए रे त की उच्च मांग को पूरा करने के लिए रे त ननमाषण के लिए
waste from mines का उपयोग।

(7) Interesting fact from the Republic Day Parade 2021.

गणतंत्र दिवस परे ड 2021 से दिलचस्प तथ्य।
 This year UT of Ladakh made his maiden entry with a Tableau called “Vision For
Future”.
 इस वर्ष UT of Ladakh ने "ववजन फॉर फ़्यूचर" नामक एक झांकी के साि अपनी पहिी प्रववस्ष्र्
बनाई।
 Tableau depicting Ram Temple from UP.
 उत्तर प्रिे श से राम मंदिर का िचत्रण करती झांकी।
 “Coir of Kerala” tableau from Kerala was made with eco-friendly and biodegradable
material.
 केरि से "Coir of Kerala" झांकी को इको-फ्रेंडिी और बायोडडग्रेडेबि सामग्री के साि बनाया गया
िा।
 A 122-member contingent of Army Men, Sailors and Air warriors from Bangladesh took
part to mark the 50th year of the 1971 war.
 1971 युद्ध के 50वीं वर्षगांठ के उपिक्ष्य पर- बांग्िािे श से 122 सिथयीय contingent Army
Men, Sailors और Air warriors ने भाग लिया।
