Day Specific Activity/ Assigned Task
At the start of week eight in the internship program, we continued posting the

news about the surge in the COVID-19 cases inside the province and national. I

committed myself to do the daily infographics to publish them on the page every day.

06-September- Since it is Monday, I scroll through every public page to check out newsworthy topics and
2021
news about the latest issues needed to share and publish before I proceed to do things for

INTERNSHIP our documentary film.

DAY 37
I was assigned to lead and direct our documentary film, so I searched for creative

techniques and brainstorming ideas to create an excellent flow and approach for the story.

We cannot go outside and shoot different videos, so we will do it online the best way we

can.
Before my day starts to do some stuff for our documentary, I first edit and

schedule posting our daily updates of COVID-19 cases (Provincial and National data).

After the infographics, I took my breakfast first and got ready back to work. I saw a post

from my searching yesterday about how effective are COVID-19 vaccines published by
07-September-
2021 the World Health Organization, so I started reorganizing my thoughts on formulating our

infographics style like WHO. I came up with the idea of making the infographics have
INTERNSHIP
fewer words and are easy to read and understand because it is more efficient knowing the
DAY 38
focus span of the people on social media becomes so short.

Late afternoon, I started to compile different videos online needed for our online

documentary film. I also scan the script to formulate a storyline and execute everything

online, though it is limited.

08-September- Yesterday, at late night, there was good news shared in our group chat. Jerald Ocol
2021
will be joining us in our internship program in Dagupan Public Information Office.

INTERNSHIP Though it is late, we are still glad because someone added to our team and an editor, so it
DAY 39
is good to have a pro-editor in our group. Tomorrow is the start of his internship program.

Right this morning, I scheduled early the COVID-19 daily cases data for both

provincial and national. It is too alarming that the number of COVID-19 cases is

continuously rising day by day. That’s why we need to follow the safety protocols and

precautions whenever we are going out and take vitamins and strengthen our immune

system. In these trying times as well, there are several reported cases of violence at home.

According to statistics, the loss of jobs, stress, and other mitigating factors caused by the

COVID-19 pandemic was associated with child abuse, particularly psychological

maltreatment (Lawson, Piel, & Simon, 2020). That’s why we come up with the idea of

proposing an infographic with a help-line in it. We included all the emergency numbers of

Dagupan City, including the PNP and the other emergency hotlines.

Still, part of the day-to-day task is to compile and get every video and presentation

ready for our documentary film. We collected every video needed and continued

compiling those in one folder.

My Thursday was composed of updates regarding the COVID-19 cases data for

both provincial and national. Right after that, I focused my work on the documentary film.

We plan to have an individual shoot in our Barangays or Municipalities vaccination areas

09-September- if we can take video clips of people in line going for vaccination. Unfortunately, in our
2021
Municipality, there was a COVID-19 outbreak that happened in the vaccination site.

INTERNSHIP That’s why the area has been closed and is still under sanitation. And the place is strictly
DAY 40
prohibited only for those people getting their vaccines done.

I forgot to tell you that we will also be having a tribute video for Dagupan Public

Information Office. Jeanie and Mary Joy spearheaded the program flow, and I took my

part in compiling different videos needed for the video.

10-September- Trivia Day Friday! Our new group member, Jerald, edited his first Trivia Day
2021
infographics poster about Dagupan City.

INTERNSHIP I started the day at 7:30 AM in posting the COVID-19 updates (Provincial and
National). After my routine, I started working on the documentary film. I started

DAY 41 analyzing the whole script, created my initial storyline, and made sample drafts on how

the story would flow. That’s for the busy week. Happy weekends!
11-September- I updated the COVID-19 cases data for both Pangasinan Province and the entire
2021
Philippines.
