a. Discuss that understanding stress and its sources during adolescence may help in
identifying ways to cope and have a healthy life;
b. Identify sources of one’s stress and illustrate the effects of stress on one’s system; and
c. Demonstrate personal ways of coping stress for healthful living.

IV. Procedures / Instructions


a. Share a personal experience about a stressful situation you were in and what kind
of coping mechanism helped you manage the situation.

I have work that conflicts with the class schedule, I made a schedule and time management alarms and
charts so that I can deal with the two things without contradicting with each other.

That I should be more grateful and satisfied with what I have and what I can have because in the other side of the world there are
people who might not even see, use, eat these kind of things in their lifetime.

a. Get a mirror
b. Check on every area of your face(the nose, eyes etc.).
c. Tell yourself how “lucky you are, how good looking you are, how you are!”
d. Develop a mantra to uplift your spirit.
e. Write down how you felt after such exercise.

I am surprised that there are many things that I didn’t even know I can think about.
