FRED C.
NIKE TENNIS SHOE LOVER WITH COMPLAINT
c/o P. O. Box 9863
Jackson, MS [Near 39286]
Since 1975, I have been an avid NIKEY TENNIS SHOE PURCHASER. About 90% of all my
tennis shoes are NIKE. I worked in Portland, Oregon and have had the pleasure of
shopping at the NIKE HEADQUARTERS in Beaverton, Oregon in 1993. I own Colhoun
boots, belts and suspenders. I explain these details to you to document that I
truly like NIKE products.
Why are these shoes just degrading and detaching at the sole. I paid over $100
dollars for each of these shoes and should not have to deal with them degrading
while stored in my closet. I have many shoes and do not wear any of them
constantly. Your economics of your shoes is cheating your consumers. We need
better shoes for the money we spend on your products.
Please consider this letter a formal request for THE NIKE CORPORATION to replace
these two pair of defective NIKE TENNIS SHOES. The shoes have been included with
this letter for proof of my claim.
I called and spoke with one of your representatives about this matter and he
mechanically told me the specifics of your latest replacement policy.
I rebut your latest warranty by bringing to your attention that your warranty time
period has been reduced as prices have risen for your shoe products constructed
with defective adhesive or creeper time limited materials. The economics of your
shoes is cheating your consumer. Proven by my two random samples with
decenergrating or time grading soles. Good for you bottom line and terrible for
the consumer buying shoes that will degrade naturally over time with or without
uses because of defective adhesive materials used to construct the shoes.
If you do not replace these defective shoes, I will never purchase other NIKE
PRODUCT ever. These two pair of shoes are not the first NIKE SHOES to detach at
the sole. These occurrence are what prompted me to pay attention to your products.

Furthermore, the shoes that I have purchase from your competitors have never
decenergrated or degraded or detached at the soles. RED FLAG MOMENT.
Sincerely,
Fred Clark
