Function Sales & Distribution


Reporting To Area Sales Manager
Business RSP

Job Purpose
To coordinate with the various accounts to ensure sales and ensure proper product
availability and visibility in all outlets in the defined territory

Key Responsibilities
 To achieve the primary and secondary targets every JC in the assigned
territory
 Directly responsible to deliver sales growth as per the organization’s
objectives
 Explain prospective clients about the advantages of the products and
services offered and follow up with them in order to close the business
deals
 Respond to the client queries regarding the products in a timely fashion
 Develop strong customer relationships in order to generate high volume of
prospective clients
 To maintain healthy relationships with super stockiest and sub stockiest
and motivate them to increase sales
 To ensure availability, visibility and stock against competition in all the
salon outlets in the assigned territory
 To ensure distribution and productivity objective are met in the respective
areas
 To ensure 100% market coverage in the assigned territory
 To ensure all the territory salons are trained in complete range of Raaga
products
 To ensure execution of planned promotions in the outlets
 To ensure proper utilization of POP materials in the assigned territory in
order to create visibility for the brand
 To increase the number of Perfect salons in the assigned territory
 To adhere to permanent journey plan, coverage plan, beat plan and
daily route coverage plan
 To work effectively with the technical team and ensure demo’s are
conducted as per plan

Functional Competencies
 Process Knowledge – Thorough understanding of Sales processes,
replenishment process and related MIS / analysis
 Distribution expansion - Enhance coverage in a defined budget.
Ensure there is complete coverage in the assigned territory
 Product Knowledge - Basic understanding of categories and products
vis-à-vis the competition
 Market Knowledge - Understanding of the geography and relationship with
dealers
 Trade relations - Relations with the retailers and leverage the sales
