What is spreadsheet?

 is a piece of paper or a computer program used for accounting and recording data using
rows and columns into which information can be entered.
 It is made up of rows, columns and cells. Rows run horizontally across the worksheet
and ranges from 1 to 1048576. A row is identified by the number that is on left side of
the row, from where the row originates. Columns run vertically downward across the
worksheet and ranges from A to XFD - 1 to 16384

What type of application ism MS Excel?

 a program in which you enter data into columns, is an example of a spreadsheet


program.
 Microsoft Excel is a spreadsheet developed by Microsoft for Windows, macOS, Android
and iOS. It features calculation, graphing tools, pivot tables, and a macro programming
language called Visual Basic for Applications.

What is the difference between workbook and worksheet?

 Workbooks are a collection of worksheets. Worksheets allow users to enter, calculate,


manipulate, and analyze data such as numbers and text.
 The worksheet is specific for a set of data. A Workbook is the general form of data.
 Practically, there is no limit for worksheets that can be kept in a workbook. But
Workbook has a limitation on the number of data entered.
