Primary Domain Controller

Objective
Primary Domain Controller, a server in a Window Server 2012 R2 that
maintains not only a Read-Write Directory of user accounts and security information but also
Child domain and tree domain. The PDC authenticates usernames and passwords when members
log into the Network. Members only have to log into one domain to access all resources in the
network. ( One domain may gain access to other domain. In this case, a member who logs into
the first domain will have access to the resources in the other domains.)

Problems
If we don’t have any PDC server on a window server operating system, we
will be very busy because we need a lot of time to create an user account on each client and to
memorize many IP address so we can get some problem in that case. Besides, we can’t connect a
long distance without PDC. It is really difficult to control our members or clients.

Solution
That’s why we should install PDC on a server. We can also solve above
the problems with a PDC.
