What is a RECONDITIONED ENGINE?

RECONDITIONED ENGINE - it is a completely renewed engine.

During the reconditioning process, all the internal parts of the engine are replaced by new genuine parts
from the brand factory. The engine block is checked and machined with special machinery.
The engine is ready for assembly when the machine process is executed and the correct parts are received.
The engine is built in compliance with the technical demands of the manufacturer.
After the complete assembly, the engine undergoes a DYNO test phase in our special designed and
equipped test area.

After the testing phase, your engine gets our HAMOFA Quality Certificate, which confirms a
perfect working condition of the engine for which we give 12 months warranty.
In the last stage of reconditioning the engine is painted with special high-temperature paint.

 We can also recondition your old engine in our workshop.
Process stages
• Dismantle and clean the engine completely.
• Check and measure every single engine part according to the manufacturer’s specifications.
• Order the genuine factory parts from the brand producer.
• Check the engine block and machine with special machinery.
• Install the new cylinders and bore and hone them for the 100% round fitting.
• Rebuild each cylinder head:
check on cracks, grinding, renew the valves, renew valve seals and valve liners.
• Install the new injector nozzles on the fuel system.
• Check/recondition the fuel pump completely.
• Assemble the engine COMPLETE with new bearings and gaskets.
• Set up the engine on the test facility and let it undergo a complete test. All the information
about the technical characteristics will be saved on USB stick and delivered to the client
together with the engine.
• Repaint the engine and make it ready for transport.
• Get an approval of our head engineer before shipment.

 What does complete mean?
As it was mentioned above, the reconditioned engine is delivered complete, meaning it has all necessary
parts for installation.

Engine parts
If you need other engine related items, we can always offer them NEW, USED OR RECONDITIONED.
In our big warehouses in Belgium and in the USA, we have a large stock of spare parts of the different
BRANDS.

Packaging
The engine will be packed in a wooden box in case of shipment outside of Europe. This wooden box is
certified for delivery to all countries. When requested, we can always supply this certificate to you. Inside
the wooden box your engine will be secured together with the parts.

Transport
If interested, we are always willing
to give you a quotation for delivery.
We are able to ship your engine by SEA, AIR or ROAD
transport, to your requested sea- or airport or final
address.
Your engine will leave our country with all necessary
documents.
