TIYIKISTAN

TAJIC MUSIC
Tajik music is closely related to Uzbek music and other forms of Central Asian music. Classical
music is called shashmaqam, which is very similar to Uzbek music. The southern part of
Tajikistan has a very distinctive form in its typical music called falak, which is played to
celebrate weddings, circumcisions, and other occasions of cultural significance.
Typical costumesand
dances
Tajikistan's traditions encompass a large part of daily life, from everyday
and festive dress to the rules of ceremonies and celebrations. In many
parts of Tajikistan, people keep their traditions close to everyday life, which
means that Tajik traditions are not lost over time. In the villages there are
people who wear long coats and traditional headscarves, who dance
traditional dances at weddings and decorate their houses with carpets and
suzani (a type of textile, embroidery and decorative), as they have done for
centuries.
Typical foods
Porridge and soups made with peas and also contain milk and herbs are common. But the
typical are the tuhum barak, tasty ravioli stuffed with eggs and battered with sesame oil, and
the chaka, curd with herbs that is delicious with pita bread.
society in tiyikistan
Tajiks, with primarily Persian ancestry and language, make up about 85% of the
population, of which 15% are ethnic Uzbeks. Although "Tajik" did not begin to denote a
characteristic nationality until the s. XX, there is a strong feeling of national identification,
which men reflect with the use of the traditional black silk cap with white Arab motifs.
typical drinks
Tea is the main drink of the country, and chaikhanas (chaykhana in some places), some in
traditional buildings with wooden beams, are everywhere to serve the national drink. In urban
centers, the Russian heritage has given rise to some lively bars, with a modest nightlife,
especially in the capital. Both Hissar and Dusambé produce their own beer, although Russian
imported bottles, such as Baltika, are the norm.
I wanted to show you a video about this country but, it is a
