Identify, at least three positions of hour and minute hands on clock face correctly
Pre-lesson:-
1. Pupils recall previous lesson on months in a year
Activities:-
2. Teacher guides the pupils to recognize hour and minute hands
3. Teacher shows the relation between fraction concept of half, quarter, three quarter
to guide the pupils to understand the concept of half, quarter and three quarter
based on clock face
4. Pupils use real clock wall or toy clock to understand half, quarter and three
quarter hours (HOTS)
PDPC ACTIVTIES 5. Pupils carry out the given activity on page 34, textbook
6. Teacher divides the pupils into several groups. Each group gets four different
pictures of clock face. Pupils state the shading area, either half, quarter or three
quarter hours (21st CA)
7. Selected groups present their works in front of class
8. Pupils answer the given questions in the exercise book (CBA)
9. Pupils answer questions in the activity book
Post-lesson:-
10. Teacher gives conclusion of today’s lesson
