This document summarizes the characteristics of ICO EX film, a biaxially oriented polypropylene film suitable for flexible packaging. The film is heat sealable on both sides, transparent, and resistant to oils, chemicals, and punctures. It has good moisture, odor, and gas barriers. Typical applications include food packaging for snacks, bakery goods, and more. The film is available in thicknesses from 15 to 40 microns and has properties like tensile strength, elongation, heat shrinkage, and permeability to water vapor, oxygen, and more that are suitable for flexible packaging.

FILM DESCRIPTION Two sides heat sealable; one side treated coextruded biaxially oriented polypropylene transparent film, suitable for:
Rotogravure and flexographic printing.
Lamination with similar films, paper or other films. Horizontal and vertical packaging machines (HFFS – VFFS). General overwrapping purposes. CHARACTERISTICS Two sides heat sealable with excellent hot tack. High transparency. Excellent ink adhesion on treated side. High resistance to oil, grease, chemicals, puncture and abrasion. Good barrier to moisture, odours and gases. APPLICATIONS Food packaging (biscuit, pasta, snacks, confectionary, chips, tea and bakery products). Non–food packaging (stationary, textiles, gifts and flowers).
