I. Activity Title: Three-Day School-Based Seminar-Workshop on Strategic


Intervention Modules Development

II. Background
In connection to the call of SDO Masbate Province for School-Based In-
Service Training (INSET), the committee of this program will administer this seminar in
school to minimize high expenditures, address the needs of the teachers and limit the
participants to follow the IATF health protocols.
This will help promote the continuous improvement of the total professional staff of
the school system; eliminate deficiencies in the background preparation of teachers and other
professional workers in education; keep professional abreast of the new knowledge; release
creative activities; and give much needed support to the teachers who are entering a wider
responsibility.

III. Objectives

The three-day school-based seminar-workshop on strategic intervention modules


development will enable the participants to:
1. Improve their teaching strategies, techniques, and the methodologies so as to align
with the goals and objectives of the Department of Education
2. Enrich their knowledge and skills in all competencies prescribed by the DEPED
especially the least learned skills so as to increase the performance of the learners
3. Develop strategic intervention modules for the Students at Risk of Dropping Out
(SARDO) and use the SIM in saving them.
