Playing tennis is Subject (playing is gerund form) the -ing form of the verb used as a noun
(-ing form pada kata kerja Play + ing = Gerund=Kata Benda=Kata benda dapat menjadi subject dalam
kalimat dan juga object dalam kalimat) and “is” is tobe verb (kata bantu kerja to be)

2. We enjoy playing tennis

You have already known about Gerund is used after certain verb, and Enjoy is the verb that should be
followed by gerund. Playing is gerund form due to Verb Enjoy.

3. He is excited about playing tennis

Playing is a gerund used as the object of preposition “about” or in other word we can say, after preposition
about should be gerund form.
