1. For you, what is the most appropriate teaching method/strategy that will make the
students learn the lesson effectively? How will you apply that method/strategy during the
pandemic?

For me, teachers can create an environment in which both they and their students feel
empowered for teaching and learning. The most appropriate teaching method/strategy for me is
none. For the reason that it will depend based on the student’s background, environment, and
subject/topic/lesson to be learned. It will become effective if the teachers will become authentic,
master/familiar on the lesson he/she will taught, simple, flexible, organized and concise for
his/her teaching and learning.

2. Describe the curriculum, instruction, and assessment today and yesterday.

A brief answer is hard to give as curriculum can be both written and unwritten. Essentially,
curriculum is what the school is attempting to teach, which might include social behaviours as
well as content and thinking skills (Edu Whitson, 2019). Instructions according to dictionary is
vital for education, as it is the transfer of learning from one person to another. Any time you are
given directions or told how to do something you are receiving instruction. Finally assessment is
the measurement of how the students learn in a specific lesson/topic or a thing being thought.
For me, today's curriculum, assessment and instructions are really a big difference compared to
then. Due to today’s pandemic of all the routine things about the curriculum, instruction
assessments have changes. Not all but it makes a big difference in terms of teachers and
especially students.

1. How does sociology affect education?

Sociology affects in the process of education in several ways. One way is that sociology
represents education. The study of how people and societies interact within one another and
themselves is, in part, the essence of education. The process of teaching and learning is a social
process- teachers and students. Moreover, sociology which is the study of society wherein the
students, teacher and person behind education is a part of it.

2. How important is sociological foundation as one of the foundations of curriculum in

school?

The sociological foundation is very important as one of the foundations of curriculum in school
for the reason that it is part of how we understand the learner which is the core and very
important detail for the curriculum. They are the basis of which we are needed in crafting the
curriculum, different way on different environment where learner symbolically interact in
education. That’s why it is very very important.
