LL Cool J Workout - Get A Body Like LL Cool J
The first 4 weeks of the LL Cool J Platinum Workout is called the Bronze Body workout. During this stage the exerciser prepares their body for
the demands of the coming weeks of physical activity and intense exercise.
This phase invloves cleaning up your diet and performing circuit training 3 times a week. Exercises in this phase include:
Leg press
Bent over rows
Chest presses
Shoulder Presses
Bicep curls
The programme at this stage includes some minimal level of CV work towards the end of the 4 week programme.
At this stage LL Cool J's Platinum Workout book kicks things up a gear. At the Silver Body stage LL Cool J recommends using free weights and
performing split sessions with straight sets performing:
Each workout also includes 15-20 minutes cardio at the end of each weights workout.
Exercises at the Silver Body phase of the LL Cool J Platinum Workout programme include:
Squats
Incline presses
Press ups
Dips
NOTE: In weeks 6 - 9 in the Silver Body phase of the LL Cool J Platinum Workout the weights in each exercise are increased, rep levels are
lowered but the exerciser performs more sets to compensate.
The Gold Body phase of the Platinum Workout suggests moving to more workout days and supersetting all exercises - chest press and chest
flyes, squats and lunges etc.
Cardio at the end of each session is also increased and exercisers will perform cardio circuits - skipping and burpess etc.
Weeks 16-19 will include 6 workout days and cardio exercise which will really challenge up also promote huge gains in fitness.
The LL Cool J Platinum Body workout phase is where the exerciser really gets a taste of the real LL Cool J workout plan. Workouts include
tough circuit training sessions, hard cardio workouts and total body resistance and weights sessions.
Like LL Cool J himself in this stage your will be performing the following exercises, depending on the day, session and physical emphasis.
Skipping
Plyometric press ups
Hanging knee raises
Boxing and sparing
Bent over rows
Preacher curls
Squats
Cable cross overs
Circuit training
Each body phase within the LL Cool J Platinum workout calls for something a little different when in comes to meals.For example in the Bronze
Body workout phase LL Cool J suggests keeping thinks simple and clean when it comes to eating whereas in the Platinum Body phase in order
to get the cut body as exhibited by LL Cool J will require lower calories but enough calories to get through workouts.
