Introduction
 This project is being headed by the male students of the grade 11,
section ‘Pythagoras’ of this institution. It is a group of 11 th grade male students
that study under the supervision of this school. As the students who use these
facilities, their aim is to improve the existing school canteen and to satisfy the
student body’s experience with it.

Rationale or Background
 These days, the school canteens are failed to be appreciated by students.
It is where most students buy their food and some eat. In Davao Oriental
Regional Science High School, the school canteen is uncomfortable for most of
the students to eat and also appears to be bland. This is observed by the
proponents which made them to focus on this problem. The proponents want
the school canteen to be more appealing and a comfortable place to eat in
campus.

Project Description
Objective of the project
 To improve the school canteen, the proponents came up with the project
Cantee-Clean. This project focuses on renovating the school canteen. This is by
providing new chairs and tables, cleaning the canteen sink, repainting the
window grills and walls, and stationing flowers and trash bins around the
canteen. The purpose of this project is to make the school canteen comfortable
to eat and making it appealing. The proponents aim that the school canteen
would be appreciated by those who would utilize it. This will be beneficial to the
students, teachers, faculty and staff, visitors, and others.

Methodology

The proponents will also conduct a fund-raising project called "Run for a
Cause". In this project, the students will be participating in a fun run activity.
The student of DORSHS will be joining the activity to raise money to fund the
project. The winner of this fun run activity will receive school supplies as
reward. If the money is inadequate to meet the certain quota, the PTA will cover
for the remaining needs for the project. The collected money will be for the
Cantee-clean project.

Timeline

The project is expected to be finished in the last two weeks of November

2021. The first week is allocated to raising funds. The second week is assigned
to renovating the school canteen.

Anticipated outcome

As mentioned, the expected output for this said project are newly-painted
window grills and walls, six (6) tables and twenty-four (24) chairs for students
can utilize, a newly-cleaned sink, three (3) trash bins where students can throw
their trash. and flowers with pots around the canteen for decoration.

How the outcome will be evaluated

 In this part, the responsibilities of each member of the group are to know
if the students are satisfied with the project. In order to evaluate the Cantee-
clean project, the members of the group will be surveying the students about
the renovated school canteen on morning recces, lunch, and afternoon recces.
After the survey, the members will look into the survey answers to check
if there is an increased satisfaction of the school canteen.
The students will be answering the following survey questions:

• What would be one word you’d use to describe our project?
• Did this project improve your experience with the school canteen?
• Did this project help you in any way?
• Do you have any additional comments or feedback for our project?
